Topic: APPEARANCE IN ZION… Part 3.
(Blessed from Zion).
Text: Psalms 128:4,5.
4: Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the Lord.
5: The Lord shall bless thee out of Zion: and thou shalt see the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life.
In part 2, I defined Zion as a spiritual community of God’s people. It is an association of everyone who is born again. God houses us spiritually and called the house Zion. It is the a spiritual city for all born again (Christians). If you missed part 2 of this teaching you can read up on our site.
My focus here is the economy of Zion. Every member of Zion benefits from her economy. The bible is my reference, it was written by the inspiration of the Spirit of God.
Though we live on earth, our blessings come from Zion, our prosperity is not determined by the economy of the country we dwell, blessings flow spiritually, you can live in the best city in the world and yet you are not comfortable.
It is important you come to the consciousness of the fact that our source of blessings is God, and he blesses us from his sanctuary, Zion. The reality of this is a function of our faith in God.
You must have seen people who made money from businesses or ventures they didn’t learn. In a collapsed economy members of Zion will still have their way.
Grace flows to every believer from Zion to prosper wherever he or she finds himself or herself. We are blessed with all spiritual blessings with evidences in the physical realm.
A number of scriptures talks about flow of blessings from Zion.
Psalms 14:7 Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! when the Lord bringeth back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.
Psalms 134:3 The Lord that made heaven and earth bless thee out of Zion.
Psalms 135:21 Blessed be the Lord out of Zion, which dwelleth at Jerusalem. Praise ye the Lord.
Psalms 20:2 Send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion.
Psalms 50:2 From Mount Zion, the perfection of beauty, God shines in glorious radiance. (NLT).
We are blessed by an economy that cannot go into recession, God is our source, he supplies our needs from the Central Bank of Zion, we can never be stranded, this is the reason the Psalmist could boldly declare, ‘ The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. Psalms 23:1. You are blessed from Zion.
PRAYER.
* I am a citizen of Zion, I shall never be stranded in the name of Jesus.
