Topic: GREAT PEACE.
Text: Isaiah 54:13.
13: And all thy children shall be taught of the Lord; and great shall be the peace of thy children.
It is interesting to know that God made provisions for all that concerns us. No parent handles affairs of his or her children with levity. I am glad to announce to you that God cares for our children more than we care for them.
it’s important you know that you can’t love your children more than God loves them, and God has already made provisions to take care of your fears.
Each time I come across some scriptural passages I tell myself, ‘ so, this promise too is in the bible ‘, discovering his amazing promises for our lives is the beginning of assurance that he’s got great plans for us.
Some people read through the bible and probably feels the promises are not directly for them and doubt if they will be fulfilled in their lives. I have got answers for such fellow. Just as the law of every country is written for every citizen of that country so is the bible written for everyone created by God.
It’s disturbing and disgusting that men easily believe the words of their doctors and finds it difficult to believe the word of God (their creator).
Our text delivers God’s plan for our children; two great promises.
1, All your children shall be taught of the Lord; this means God will instruct them the way they should go, this means guidance, directions, divine instructions about their careers, destinies, relationships.I see God saying, ‘ I won’t allow your children go wayward ‘. They shall not lose direction in life.
I want you to take note of the first 3 words of this verse, ‘ all your children ‘, this means you won’t have a black sheep among them. It means none of them is exempted from a bright future.
2, The second promise is the resultant effect of the first one: great shall be their peace.
HOW CAN THESE PROMISES BE FULFILLED?
The fulfilment is not automatic, you gat to do your part, as parents we must be in relationship with God, teach our children God’s word and God’s way.
God is faithful in keeping his words we must stay in touch with him in fellowship and relationship. God bless you.

* Lord guide my children, give them direction, may they not miss it in life in Jesus name.
