DAY 8: THE ANOINTMENT AND THE ANOINTED.
Text: 1 Samuel 10:1
1: Then Samuel took a flask of olive oil and poured it over Saul’s head. He kissed Saul and said, “I am doing this because the Lord has appointed you to be the ruler over Israel, his special possession.
Anointing is consecrating someone for a specific purpose, it is God’s way of choosing his people and his ministers. Consecration attracts the anointing, as we stay in presence he pours his oil on us.
The anointed is different from the one who is not anointed, the anointed has God’s mandate on his life. He can’t be attacked, he can’t be conquered, he can’t be put to shame.
The anointing effects elevation, promotion, breakthrough and healings.
The only that can disqualify one from been anointed is sin.
PRAYER.
* Anoint my head with oil Lord.
* Anything that disqualifies me from been anointed Lord remove it.
* Let the anoint manifest in all my endeavors.
* Let every yoke be broken.
* My hands are not anointed.
* Going forward nothing fails in my life in the name of Jesus.
