Topic: ATTRACTING HIS GLORY .. part 3.
Text: Leviticus 1:1
1: And the Lord called unto Moses, and spake unto him out of the tabernacle of the congregation, saying, KJV .
1: The Lord called to Moses from the Tabernacle and said to him, NLT.
The Lord is not done unraveling mysteries on this subject matter. Our text here struck my spirit man when I read it, except the Holy Spirit interpret it you will think it is mere statement.
I was expecting the bible to say, ‘ The Lord called to Moses from Heaven ‘, but rather it says, ‘ The Lord called to Moses from the Tabernacle …’ mysteries are embedded in this verse, I trust God to help me deliver it in a way you will understand.
Why didn’t God speak from heaven as he used to do? It is simply because he wants to be closer to Moses and since he wouldn’t take Moses to heaven as at the time of this event, he needed an habitation that will be close to Moses.
Permit me to say this; many people don’t know that God wants man, God wants fellowship, relationship with man. How can I prove this to you? Let me put it this way; God made man in his image after his likeness, this means man shares same feeling with God; now how do you feel when you’re alone for days and there is no communication with anyone or when your children are far away from you? The same feeling is what God shares when his beloved are far away from him.
It occurred to me that God was missing Moses, God needed to be closer and that is the reason for the erection of the Tabernacle.
The Lord called to Moses from the Tabernacle ..’ it means God is now closer to Moses, no long distance relationship anymore, no going to the mountain before God can talk to him. God was practically dwelling among them. What a way to walk with God! You can be sure that Moses can never lack his presence and glory.
What do we take from this? God wants to be closer to us; you and I, as Moses built him a Tabernacle we must build him a home in our heart. That’s how to attract his glory to your life. God bless you.
