Text: Hebrews 9;11-14.
11: But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;
12: Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.
13: For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh:
14: How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God.
In the book of Exodus and Leviticus, I discovered that God placed so much emphasis on his tabernacle, I discovered that every sacrifice must be brought to the tabernacle. The sacrifices in the old testament were meant to make them acceptable before God.
The filthiness in man separates man from God and everyone who comes before him must go through atonement processes. That was a condition for acceptance.
God seeking for an excellent way, method, process to dwell in man again sent Jesus to die for our sins.
Just as blood of animals were being shed for atonement of sin, so must a man who has never took park in sin make sacrifice for humanity, and just as all sacrifices were brought to the tabernacle made with hands by Moses and his men according to divine specifications, so must Jesus’ blood be offered in tabernacle of heaven.
The atonement in the old testament was the cleaning of the flesh (body) by the blood of animals, while Jesus’ blood is to purge our inner being, conscience, mind, spirit to serve the living God.
Since blood was shed in making atonement in the front of the Tabernacle made with hands, blood must be shed for thorough cleansing of the soul and spirit of man in the heavenly tabernacle, but this time once and for all to obtain eternal redemption for us.
Jesus’ death is then necessary to redeem us and make us acceptable to God. His death is to abolish forever all sacrifices, the sacrifice of his life ends all sacrifices and present us holy before God.
Now we can appear before God and be considered holy in his presence (in heavenly tabernacle) once we confess our sins and forsake them. His crucifixion and resurrection is the total package for salvation, redemption, sanctification, transformation, justification, purification and elevation into his holy tabernacle.
When Adam and Eve sinned they were thrown of his presence, they were expelled far from his holy tabernacle, but Jesus’ crucifixion and resurrection administers restoration to his tabernacle (heavenly tabernacle). How do I know? Ephesians 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
Ephesians 2:6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
