DAY 18: LIBRATION
Text: Jeremiah 50: 33,34
33: Thus saith the Lord of hosts; The children of Israel and the children of Judah were oppressed together: and all that took them captives held them fast; they refused to let them go.
34: Their Redeemer is strong; the Lord of hosts is his name: he shall throughly plead their cause, that he may give rest to the land, and disquiet the inhabitants of Babylon.
Some people think there is no need to bind demons, some even think demons don’t exit. James 4:7 gives us answer to this: Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
The bible tells us to bind demons, rebuke the devil, don’t act like they do not exist simply exercise authority over them.
Great Apostle Paul wrote the church in Thessalonia in 1 thessalonian 2:18 Wherefore we would have come unto you, even I Paul, once and again; but Satan hindered us. Many people have been hindered by the devil.
In our text God confirmed that his people have been held down and power that hold them refuse to let them go, this is the state of many people and that calls for libration, deliverance, freedom. Forces of darkness can be likened to mosquitoes, you can’t say, ‘ I fumigated once and for all ‘, occasionally or periodically if not regularly you need to fumigate.
Rebuking demons, devils, evil spirits, forces of darkness, powers in high places is spiritual fumigation and that’s what we are doing today.
PRAYER.
* I break lose from the forces of darkness.
* I stop activities of darkness in and around my life.
* I stop activities of demons in and around my family.
* I break lose from the powers that refuse to let me go.
* Forces that strife with my progress perish by fire.
* Every evil deposit in my life exist by fire in the name of Jesus.
