Topic: UNRAVELING THE MYSTERY OF THANKSGIVING.
Text: Psalms 67:5,6.
5: Let the peoples praise You [turn away from their idols] and give thanks to You, O God; let all the peoples praise and give thanks to You!
6: The earth has yielded its harvest [in evidence of God’s approval]; God, even our own God, will bless us.
7: God will bless us, and all the ends of the earth shall reverently fear Him. Amplified
Acts and attributes of God can be studied in his word. Just as you can know a man through his words, in like manner, God can be discovered through his word.
If you are a student of the bible you will discover somethings that will shock you in the bible, you will be amazed that there are scriptures that meet your situation.
God can be found through his words. Our text shows how God reacts to thanksgiving. God is always enthroned in the praises of his people.
The earth responds to everyone who praises God, the earth responds by yielding increase, everyone who praises God experiences increase wherever he or she lives.
God gave the ground, the earth a standing order, look at it here ‘ yield increase, prosperity, multiplication to everyone who praises me.
God’s reaction to praise is blessings, he will cause the ground, your environment, situations and circumstances to act in your favour.
He raises us when we praise him.
PRAISE.
* Your praise will not depart from my mouth.
* Thank you Lord for all you have done.
